Poetry

Poetry is not the strongest branch on my writing tree. It is the little branch that barely has leaves, but it has enough support to keep what little leaves it produces. I took two poetry classes during my time in grad student: metaphysical poetry and a poetry writing class. Metaphysical poetry is so boring, y'all. 0/10, would not recommend. Though, I did have a good time with discussing the ambiguity of metaphysical poetry. Now, the poetry writing was so fire. I had the best time; my professor was great; the material was bomb! Everything about this class gave me so much life. 12/10, definitely recommend. Anyway, here are two poems I wrote from the class. I might write more, I don't know yet. Tell me what you think.
